The Salisbury-Rowan Community Foundation was established in 1944 to encourage charitable giving within the local community. Its mission is to bring together donors, community leaders and nonprofits to make positive impacts throughout Rowan County, N.C.

The volunteer board of advisors have awarded more than $1.4 million to local nonprofits over the last five years to support projects that enhance lives and improve the community.
